Privacy Policy

The short version

gelagien.com is an information website. We do not take payments here, we do not run accounts, and we have no interest in your medical information. What is collected is the ordinary technical record any web server keeps, plus whatever you choose to put in an email to us.

What is collected

Automatically

Our host keeps standard server logs: IP address, browser and operating system, the page requested, the page you arrived from, and the time. Every web server on the internet works this way, and it is what lets us notice that a page is broken.

Because you sent it

If you email us we keep your message and address for as long as it takes to deal with it, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you write again. We do not add you to a mailing list without you asking.

Analytics

A privacy-respecting analytics tool may be used to count page views and show us which articles get read to the end. It reports in aggregate. It is not used to work out who you are.

What is not collected

• Payment details. There is no checkout on this domain. Card details go to the seller's payment processor and never touch this site.
• Health or skin information. Please do not email us your medical history. If a message needs some detail to make sense, strip out anything identifying first.
• Anything from children. This site is for adults and is not directed at anyone under 18.
• Photographs, unless you send them. If you send us a photograph of yourself for a review, we treat it as yours: it is used only with the written permission you give, and removed on request.

Cookies

The site itself sets no cookie you would notice and nothing here needs one to work. A link out to the seller may set a cookie recording that you arrived from here, which is how a commission gets attributed. Any embedded third-party content may set its own. Your browser can block all of it and these pages will still function.

Who else sees it

Our hosting provider processes what it needs to serve the site. An analytics provider, if used, processes aggregate usage. Nothing is sold, because there is nothing here worth selling. We would disclose information if the law required it, and would tell you unless prevented from doing so.

Where it is held, and for how long

On servers in the United States. Server logs are kept for a short operational period and then discarded on the host's ordinary cycle. Email correspondence is kept while it is useful and deleted when it is not.

Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have the right to ask what we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to processing, or to receive a copy. Write to contact@customercs.com and we will deal with it. There is no charge and nobody is treated differently for asking.

If you live in California: nothing here is sold or shared in the sense state law gives those words, and no cross-context behavioural advertising runs on this domain.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS and the software behind it is kept current. No system is perfect and we will not pretend otherwise. The best protection available to you here is that we deliberately hold very little.

This policy covers gelagien.com only. Once you follow a link to the seller's checkout or anywhere else, that site's own privacy terms apply and you should read them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be described on the page rather than slipped in quietly.
